Operation is simple, with the app running, click the 'Reset' button to begin timing. Once running, click the close or minimize button on the Title bar to send NERDAlert to the system tray.
The app will happily 'live' in the system tray and 'popup', flash colorfully and sound off when time to identify the station - by NERD number and call sign.
Context, or 'popup', menus are accessible by Right clicking the app or icon in the system tray. The former provides more options; i.e. sound/wave file selection and close/minimize to system tray.
NERDAlert 2000 is a downloadable app designed to help Amateur Radio operators get more enjoyment from their available operating time.
